With a diverse programme, the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb will mark the Croatian Ballet Day on November 4, 2017. Exactly 141 years ago (November 4, 1876) names of dancers and the choreographer in one of the most popular Croatian operas Zajc’ Nikola Šubić Zrinjski were mentioned in the programme booklet and thus this date is considered as the day of the beginning of professional ballet in Croatia.

11,50 – 12,20 – ballet class of soloists and ensemble of the Ballet of the CNT in Zagreb, pedagogue Mihaela Devald

12,20 – 12,50 excerpts from ballet Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky in the choreography of Vladimir Malakhov

Pas de deux Odette and Prince, soloists: Miruna Miciu and Andrea Schifano

Pas de quatre, soloists and ensemble of the Ballet of the CNT in Zagreb

Ballet mistresses: Iraida Lukašova, Milka Bartolović, Mihaela Devald

Music recording: Orchestra of the CNT Opera in Zagreb, conductor: Dian Tchobanov, concert mistress Vlatka Peljhan
