Meet Darko Domitrović – Croatian pianist and composer


DARKO  DOMITROVIĆ   studies piano at the Tschaikovsky  Conservatory  in Moscow and at the Hochschule fur Music und darstellende Kunst in Vienna.


Since 1990 works at the Musical Academy in Zagreb, in the Department for solo singing. He is a member of the Croatian Composers’ Society and the Croatian Society of Music Artists.



He has won four first prizes in the competitions held in former Yugoslavia, and he is a laureate of the international piano competition Citta di Senigallia in Italy.


He has performed  in Austria,  Germany,  France,  Italy, England, Japan, Spain, Finland, Russia, Poland, United States of America (Puerto Rico, New York, Hawaii, Florida, Ohio), Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.



He has performed in concerts and has recorded as an accompaniment  for singers and violinists and has composed  pieces for piano, solo songs and pop music. He is the author of music for musical Byron.
