String Quartet Sebastian will have the first concert of the 17th concert season on Monday, 29.10.2018. at 20:00 o’clock in the small hall of the Lisinski Concert Hall.
The concert will begin with the 1st String Quartet of the recently deceased academician Anđelko Klobučar from the 1970s.
An elegant, folk-inspired song by Frano Lhotka – Elegi and Scherzo will follow, and at the end of the first part of the concert you will hear the attractive Two Waltz op. 54 Antonin Dvorak.
In the second part of the concert, the anthology quartet in Franz Schubert’s D minor is known as Death and Girl. In the second part of this quartet, Schubert used the theme of his own solo song Death and Girl, and so the whole quartet was named.
